Georgina Hill-Brown – Vocaltutor & Vocaltutor Artist Development Founder

Georgina is the founder and principal of Vocaltutor, the UK’s ONLY vocal and singing tuition network. From its humble beginnings 8 years ago of one tutor, Vocaltutor now has over 80 specialist teachers across the UK, who offer a high standard and effective method of singing tuition.
Vocaltutor has developed a unique teaching method that trains all aspects of the voice including breathing techniques, range development, pitch correction, articulation, repertoire choices, confidence building and most of all bridges the chest and head voice successfully. Our technique also ensures strength in the head voice. Ensuring a connected vocal tone throughout your whole range.
Vocaltutor have specialist teachers in genres including: Pop, Musical Theatre, Soul, Jazz, Rock & Metal, Classical and more.
The first session will include a vocal assessment, allowing your vocaltutor teacher to understand your strengths and weaknesses. Sessions are tailored towards the individual. Tuition is available to beginners through to advanced. Teaching is on a 1-2-1 basis in half hour or hourly sessions.

Georgina Hill-Brown has judged many competitions, including judging the WINNER of Britain’s Got Talent – George Samson as part of Festival4Stars, also last year’s finalists of Britain’s Got Talent- MD Productions and Farryl Smith. Georgina has also judged for Live & Unsigned & Open Mic UK 2008-present.

Georgina has recently become a member of the Modern Vocalist and is now a regular contributor and Director of Community Development of The Modern Vocalist.

Before Vocaltutor, Georgina’s first love was the theatre and she has gained a great deal of knowledge and experience of working in this area. Georgina worked at The Palace Theatre in Manchester and worked on over 500 different theatrical productions including Henry V – Royal Shakespeare Company (starring Michael Sheen), Heathcliff – Cliff Richard, Crazy For You (with Jon Barrowman), The Joe Pasquale show, Coppelia with the English National Ballet, Opera with Opera North including Sweeney Todd, and the Magic Flute and many more.
